The training of national consultants represents a key step between the contextualization of the methodology and the implementation of the first DIM pilot. The objective is create an initial national pool of accredited DIM consultants capable of applying the methodology with Lao MSMEs and supporting its future replication and scale-up in different parts of the country.
The GYB methodology arises from the need to provide support to those MSMEs whose areas of business management are not well-developed or non-existent, as well as demonstrating a lack of suitable business organization, weak marketing structures, and few or no administrative, accounting and financial controls, among others.
The objective of the training course is to enable the national Zambian consultants and technical experts to successfully apply the Supplier Development Methodology in approved Value Chains in Zambia.
